The Winter Solstice has passed and the days now, ever so slowly, lengthen. We paid tribute to the turning year Wednesday evening by lighting the Chanukah candles and making ceremony for Grandfather Fire. Thus, we acknowledged two tribal traditions. Those gathered sent many expressions of gratitude and prayers to the Creator via Grandfather. In so doing, we fed Grandfather and spoke to the centrality of the hearth. We are grateful to all of you who joined us in flesh or spirit.
As we approach the New Year, we wish you and yours a truly magical holiday season, and joy and health in the year to come.
